Bud Stack is nationally certified as a trial lawyer through the
National Board of Trial Advocacy. He is also board certified by The
Florida Bar and has been since The Florida Bar first established
certifications. He has attained numerous million dollar plus verdicts
and settlements, some of which are record-makers. He is one of the
founding members of the law firm.
Mr. Stack has attained numerous honors and special memberships
throughout his legal career. He has attained membership in The Florida
Bar, The American Bar Association, the Hillsborough Bar Association,
the Dade County Bar Association, Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers,
Texas Trial Lawyers Association, American Trial Lawyers Association,
Florida Lawyers Action Committee, and the National Board of Trial
Advocacy. He was a founding member of the National Lawyers for Public
Justice, a member of the Committee of 100 - AFTL, ATLA Diplomate, AFTL
Diplomate, Chairman of the Florida Bar Legislative Committee(Eleventh
Circuit), "M" Club, ATLA, President's Club of Florida State
University, Roscoe Pound Foundation (Fellow), American Judicature
Society, U. S.
Supreme Court Historical Society, and Million Dollar Advocates Forum.
Also, he served as a member of the ABA Committee on Products, General
Liability and Consumer Law, ABA Trial Techniques Committee,
President's Council of the University of Florida, University of
Florida Trusler Society - (Advocate), 75th Anniversary Club of the
University of Florida College of Law, the University of Florida Law
School Foundation, Law School Class Representative and member of the
Campaign for Justice, Legal Services. Mr. Stack has also served on
various governmental commissions. He was Chairman of the Eleventh
Judicial Circuit Nominating Commission for six years, whose function
is to screen applicants for judgeships tor the Governor. He served on
the City of Miami Downtown Development Authority. Dade County
Corporate Income Tax Committee (Chairman), United States District
Court Peer Review Commission- Southern District of Florida, and A
Better Constitution Committee (ABC).

Mr. Stack was Chairman, Special Events, for the Summit of the Americas
Western Hemispheric Conference in 1994, in which every nation in
Central, South and North America participated.
He is admitted to practice in all State of Florida courts; the United
States District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of
Florida; United States Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeal; United States
Fifth Circuit Court of Appeal: United Slates Fourth Circuit Court of
Appeal: and the United States Supreme Court. He has served as a
college law instructor at the University of South Florida and has been
a lecturer for the American Institute of Banking, The Florida Bar
Continuing Legal Education Foundation, and the Academy of Florida
Trial Lawyers. He has received recognition in Who's Who Among American
Lawyers, Who's Who in Florida, Outstanding Floridians, Who's Who in
the South and Southwest, Who's Who in America, Leading American

Mr. Stack was selected by the President of the United States and
nominated to serve as judge on the second highest court level in the
nation - the U. S. Court of Appeals. Mr. Stack chose to withdraw his
nomination and remains a Senior Partner of the firm. He makes his home
in Melbourne.
Mr. Stack was raised in Melbourne, Florida and received his Juris
Doctor from the University of Florida College of Law. He graduated
from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Business
Administration. As an active trial lawyer, he has lived in Tampa,
Miami and Melbourne and has conducted trials throughout the State of
Florida.
