Nathan A. Romanic
Nathan A. Romanic joined High Stack Gordon Kirby as a civil litigation attorney in 2008. Prior to joining High Stack, Mr. Romanic began his legal career with Morgan & Hires, P.a., a central Florida-based plaintiff’s rights practice. He also worked with Earth Justice, LLC, a nationally renowned non-profit public interest law firm.
Mr. Romanic holds undergraduate degrees, cum laude, in Management and Humanities from the University of Central Florida and received Juris Doctor from Florida State University, where he obtained certification from the nationally renowned Environmental and Land Use Law Program. While in law school, Mr. Romaic received several book awards, an honor given to the student who achieves the highest grade in a particular class. During that time, Nathan also served as Regional Liaison for the Student Hurricane Network, a national network of law students providing free legal aid and cleanup relief services to communities in Mississippi and Louisiana devastated by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.
Mr. Romanic handles a wide variety of matters with the High Stack firm, including claims for bodily injury and wrongful death, insurance and contract disputes, civil rights violations, local small business representation, nursing home abuse, and other general civil litigation. He is a member of several professional organizations, most notably the Florida Bar, the American Bar Association for Justice, the Florida Justice Association, and the Brevard County Bar. He is admitted in all Florida State Courts and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
Over the years with High Stack, Mr. Romanic has handled many complex litigation matters and has led the firm’s appellate division, where opposing counsel has referred to him as the appellate assassin. A high compliment from opposing counsel.
In his leisure time, Nathan volunteers with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America and several central Florida animal rescue organizations. He also enjoys rock climbing and is an active member of the Southeastern Climbers coalition.
